Who operates this site?
Hello Upstairs is operated by Melt Media Group. For questions, corrections, access or deletion requests, email hello@helloupstairs.com. Include your enquiry reference if you have one. We may need to verify that a request concerns your information.
Your quote request
When you submit, we receive your name, contact details, installation ZIP code, staircase answers, preferences, optional notes and selected photos. We use them to review your request, contact you using your preferred method and look for an installer. We record the time and the version of the agreement you accepted. Please do not include medical information, people or documents in your submission.
Who receives your information?
Requests and photos are held in our hosted database and private file storage. The authenticated site owner can review them. We do not automatically distribute requests to installers. Before introducing you, we identify the proposed company and ask for your agreement to share relevant contact details, staircase information and photos. We may be paid for that introduction or a resulting sale. The installer then handles the information it receives under its own policy. Preview requests collected before public launch are not permission for a referral.
Contact preferences
The form asks for permission for Melt Media Group to contact you about this request by your preferred email or manually dialed phone call. It does not sign you up for automated marketing calls, texts or a newsletter. You can ask us to stop follow-up by emailing us or telling us when we contact you.
Optional photos
The form resizes and re-encodes supported photos before uploading, removing original photo metadata. Photos are private and are not published in our guides. Only share images you have permission to provide. An installer must assess measurements and suitability; photos do not establish that a stairlift will fit.
Keeping and deleting requests
We keep enquiries while reviewing the project and arranging follow-up, and review saved requests for deletion when they are no longer needed. You can request deletion at any time using the email above. The owner can delete a request and its attached photos from the inbox. This launch does not have automatic enquiry expiry; hosting backups and technical logs may follow the hosting provider’s retention process.
Cookies and technical data
The form uses a necessary, short-lived security cookie to protect submissions and retries. We keep limited security counters and a hashed network identifier to limit abuse; the application does not store your raw IP address in your enquiry. Our hosting provider, ChatGPT Sites, may process request and access data to deliver and secure the site. Owner sign-in uses the hosting service’s authentication.
Browser tools and external sites
Unsubmitted form answers stay in page memory and are lost when you leave or reload. Saved provider identifiers use local storage in your browser; clear them from your saved-options page. Calculator and comparison tool entries stay in your browser unless you choose to copy, print or download them. We have not added advertising pixels or a third-party analytics service. Provider links take you to external sites with their own policies. We do not accept payments on this website.
